A note from Taylor Robenalt
I am a contemporary ceramic artist that specializes in creating unique one of a kind sculptures. I also teach ceramic at a variety of institutions. As an artist I draw my influences from dreams as well as everyday narrative through the interaction between humans, animals, and nature.
I have used a wide variety of materials in my pieces, mainly stoneware, terracotta and porcelain. Please investigate my newest body of work called the Porcelain Clusters. I have been influenced by other ceramic artists such as Christina Cordova, Lisa Clague, John Byrd, and Kate MacDowell.
